BEER OF THE DAY: Lagunitas IPAby Danny on December 10th, 2007 at 1:33:43 pm |
Lagunitas IPA is today’s BEER OF THE DAY.

PS:Â Threw a small hedge on, just in case.
PPS: Notice the DLB cup. Coincidence? No.

That looks nasty.
December 10th, 2007 at 2:04:11 pmThat beer makes your balls grow.
December 10th, 2007 at 2:22:51 pmFly is correct, as per usual.
December 10th, 2007 at 2:24:51 pmThat beer sells for circa $2.93. Grossly overvalued.
December 10th, 2007 at 2:28:57 pmnot where I buy it. $7.50 per sixer at savon. For reasons inexplicable, the savon in PB, last place you’d ever think to buy beer, has a good microbrew selection.
December 10th, 2007 at 2:46:15 pm“Unlimited release”. LOL!
I’ve not had this one, even though I see them in all the stores around here. Not a huge fan of IPA…although Libery Ale (Anchor Brewing Co.) is pretty good.
December 10th, 2007 at 5:48:19 pmD — my little bro, who lives in Carlsbad, has been raving to me about this stuff.
Can’t get it out here in “Fly”-over country yet, though.
I’ll talk to my guy. If he wants a “nice Christmas” he’ll hook me, even if it’s a loss leader.
December 10th, 2007 at 6:53:33 pmThat’s a nice color.
The more orange, the better.
(For everything but websites)

Anchor Steam is not pale ale.
Bell’s Two Hearted, if you’re manly enough.
December 10th, 2007 at 6:55:01 pmLagunitas is good, but Stone IPA is better. Try it!!
December 10th, 2007 at 10:41:23 pmTried Stone, good.
Not as good as Bell’s though.
December 10th, 2007 at 11:03:09 pmstone is good, lagunitas is better. the one I have up next is better than lagunitas.
December 10th, 2007 at 11:52:47 pmAnchor Steam is indeed not a pale ale.
Liberty Ale is a beer brewed by Anchor Brewing, although I guess ‘technically’ it’s an American Pale Ale. The only real difference is that it uses ‘American’ hops.
My ‘true’ IPA pick is the Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale (winter seasonal). Definitely the choice of beer with those spicy BWLD wings.
December 11th, 2007 at 12:28:56 amI haven’t had that one. I like regular ol’ fashioned anchor steam as well
December 11th, 2007 at 1:12:06 amThis is what God wanted beer to look like.

Your God is namby pamby.

December 11th, 2007 at 9:21:42 amStella is another excellent choice. Perhaps Danny should replace his main webpage picture with the one from mdawsz’s link. The aluminum can just doesn’t flatter the beer.
Every time somebody says namby pamby, I think William Shatner. Odd, no?
December 11th, 2007 at 11:10:03 amstella is bomb
December 11th, 2007 at 1:07:38 pmStella’s okay for a lager. But gimme ales, rich and hoppy and orange, over that yeller stuff.
