Position Update: BBBB

BBBB Blackboard signs nation-wide agreement in the Netherlands (38.95 -0.09)
Co announces that BBBB has signed a major three year nation-wide e-Learning expansion agreement with SURFdiensten and SLBdiensten in The Netherlands. SURFdiensten facilitates the use of ICT in higher education and research, while SLBdiensten provides licenses for vocational, adult education, and secondary education. Over a million students in The Netherlands and Belgium currently access Blackboard’s software. The new contract extends the current agreement into 2010 and allows continuity for enterprise e-Learning software in The Netherlands and Belgium. It shows mutual commitment between Blackboard, SURFdiensten and SLBdiensten for this market.

Revenues out to 2010 = visibility, dudes. What, a recession means no more school? No more learnding for da cheeldren? I am actually mildly regretting my “price action and time limit” based sale yesterday, but I still have my core, unsellable position.

Hey, did you ever try any of that supposedly good absinthe from over yonder seas? I talked to you about it a couple months ago and was checking in to see if it was legit or not.

  2. Woodshedder Says:

Absinthe is now legal in the US.

  3. Mike Says:

I hadn’t heard that, when was the law passed?

  4. Woodshedder Says:

Just within the last few months.

    From: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Absinthe

In 2007 the first legally available absinthe has been approved for sale in the United States. These brands must pass TTB testing, which is performed by the Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry method [65] and TTB considers a product to be thujone-free if the FDA’s test measures less than 10ppm thujone [66].

Keep in mind that thujone is the psychoactive ingredient from wormwood which is supposed to give Absinthe its special properties.

    Danny,

You buying SGMO here or keeping your powder dry for a better price?

  6. Danny Says:

biotech sucks, but I like SGMO here. Proceed with mild caution.

The absinthe sucked. I actually am gonna make a post explaining why.

    nice find shed.

  7. Danny Says:

in hindsight mike, it’s not worth making an article about, but basically the site I bought off of was a scam. What they did, is they own a bunch of sites–Half sell the absinthe under different names (absinthe.bz and absintheworld.com) and the other half promote these sites as good. But they are all owned by the bottlers of crappy alcohol.

I knew it was a joke when I saw it–patron bottle look nice. Grey goose, stylish–those are 50 and 30 respectively. To warrant 100+, what I foolishly paid, it should be reminiscent of some blue label–serious class. Instead, I got a bottle with an ever-so-slightly crooked label that was stuck on with stupid glue.

Scam. Fool. All in the pursuit of exotic alcohol.

It really it the perfect tourist trap– “Oh well have the best” when it’s the equivalent of popov vodka. Much like the crap fake cubans people buy.
I have now ascertained that this is a much more reputable place to go.

  8. Mike Says:

Damn, that sucks. Well, perhaps this site will work out better.

  9. Danny Says:

I think it is bc they aren’t peddling in the same way. Fool’s error. I felt dumb, because the DD I did that I thought was enough turned out to be pointless. Lesson learned.
