Profit Meets Cottage Cheese Thighs
There has been much discussion of how to bank coin off ‘merica’s burgeoning “obese asshole” epidemic. It’s pretty sad. According to statistics, two-thirds of my readership could be “overweight,” and at risk of constant shaming. I want to help you 2/3 out of this mess.
A reasonable man would suggest diet and exercise, I’m sure you’re well familiar with that precious maxim, but dammit, reasonable men don’t win wars––you need your stomach stapled, by [[AGN]]’s lap-band.
But, I think instead of telling you the obvious, I’ll just suggest a financial alternative.
Obviously, buying [[NTRi]] is a sure-fire way to “south beach diet” your portfolio, and [[WTW]] is kind of boring.
[[bg]] makes the awesome oils used to fry stuff at KFC, but, eh, that’s more of an agriculture play, and if that sector cools off (not yet, imo) then BG will get hit.
We want a direct fatass situation.
My pick is [[MIDD]]. It makes the commercial ovens and kitchen equipment that the increasingly popular fast-casual restaurants use to make their shit. I think it is the best long term way to play the space. Gross margins are 38%, 33% of revenues are from overseas, and it isn’t dependent on the domestic kitchen market, which understandably sucks ass due to our “angelo” housing market. Though, if the US slows down, it’s possible sales will slow as less commercial kitchens are built. If recent earnings are an indicator, however, it doesn’t look too dire:
Its main public competitor, [[OVEN]], has exposure to residential, and 25% of their revenues come from Subway, a chain for losers. That concentration is dangerous, and I could a write five part series on why I hate Subway.
Once again, it’s the GME theory. Why bet against the fatties via NTRI or for them via BWLD when you can just agree that both need ovens for shit? Believe it or not, I’m pretty sure NTRI uses an oven at some point in the process of creating their disgusting food.
Anyway, you know how I love momo, and I’m interested to see if this breaks out above all-time highs, even though the short-term chart looks relatively pukish. I haven’t looked too carefully at the financials, though, I’m just bringing this stock to peoples’ attention since I like the LT thesis, and it is butting heads with its high. Mainly though, this is a great longterm, multi-year play that is correlated to obesity, and eating trends, two things that aren’t likely to change drastically over the next 5-10 years.

- какая программа умеет рассылать персональные сообщения всем пользователям форумов phpBB, IPB, VBulletin?
- какая программа отсортирует Вашу базу ссылок по Google PageRank?
- какая программа МАССОВО отредактирует все Ваши ранее разосланные объявления по форумам?
- и при этом еще регулярно обновляется и совершенствуется.
