if a call is made in the forest, and is correct to the tune of 75 dow points, does anyone hear? no.

Hey you lazy cali-man, we all miss the nightly iBC machine updates.

Your comments yesterday re: the machine were great, except they were in the comments section, so nobody read them.

  3. Danny Says:

true. I was going to make it its own post, but I thought (seriously I thought this) it would get more views in the comments section of Fly’s.

Blocks takes literally 3-4 hours to compile the stupid fucking charts so, if I want to get the update out at 6 pm est, AND include a chart so people can visually see what I’m talking about, I have run the program many hours early, which is a pain.

I am able to see the trend without a chart, meaning the time differential for me and anon user to come to the same conclusion is 5 hours.

I can always talk about it, but I assume that reading “buy interest today was 60% higher than yesterday but 40% lower than XYZ” is harder to visualize than a picture.

Also, I question how much explaining I have to do. It takes a long time to do (at least for me, maybe I’m inept).

And it is laziness. I don’t like typing well-thought out (at least in my mind) views that get glossed over. I may spend an hour or more on it.

I never really got any positive feedback and Fly pretty much told me it was an abomination, so while I still rely on it, it’s not worth the trouble to provide free for the common man. So sorry. I’m glad you like it though. I know ragin did/does as well.

lastly, the machine is right–just not everyday or to the penny. I wouldn’t want the iBC machine to be construed as a nightly prediction for the next days trade, because frankly, some days the iBCM says nothing in particular.

Shed, I would just use the machine I gave you, and we’ll all prosper. Well, technically, I guess just you, me, and ragin.

Boone, I thought you got some good feedback on it.

However, I know what it feels like to be crunched for time, and still trying to put together a decent stream of thoughts and charts.

Problem is with me and the machine, I have to read your thoughts on it, and then consult it, to really understand it. I am still not that good at reading it.

Wood, I think Danny need to add our old friend Mr. BLUD onto his healthcare/bios chart.

Just rang in today over the 38% fib line of the loooong term (three year) chart.

    I likee.

And kid — I’d advise you to keep up with iBCM updates.

You need to build franchise value ovah heah. Pics of Calcutta skate parks, while interesting, are not going to cut it.

    true enough points.

Tonights iBC update will be titled “shock and awe” cuz shit went crazy today.

Seriously, I will do an iBC update tonight.

shed you highlighted the problem. You need both my interpretation AND what I gave you. If people could read what I write, then look for themselves, there would be cognition. Maybe PPT software will fix this. There was some talk of Jeremy programming it in, but I havent given him any codes.

How do you think you would fare if you just read what I wrote and had nothing to look at? You’d probably gloss over it, which is what I assume my readers mostly do, based on feedback.

Shed you’re smarter than most, and you need both. And I had a very detailed 1.5 hour conversation with you on the phone about it, like a private seminar.

Fly was right–it is too much for the average person just to take in without some amount of decoding. He tried to get to dumb it down to just a buy or sell reading, but it doesn’t work that way. It’s like asking a scale to return one value regardless of the amount of weight applied.

I did not intend this to be a rant, if it sounded that way.
