Technical Difficulties

by Danny on August 20th, 2008 at 9:41:18 pm

I have been having heinous internet problems all day. It’s frustrating and ridiculous how much I need the internet to live.  Fortunately, I was able to get some sweet connectivity at 3:40 EST, where I quietly sold some stocks short. Other than that, I’ve been offline until just now.

Today was a weak recovery day compared to the last few bounces.  It seems like everyone knows this rally is rolling over.

Below is the S&P 500.  It is color-coded based on my Makin it Rainâ„¢ indicator.  Buy the gold in an uptrend, sell the gold on a downtrend.  But that’s less important.

I made my watchlist the constituents of the S&P500, then found the average of the watchlist for each of the financial measures below.  Pretty interesting that Net Profit Margin times the market pretty well.  Note that LT-Debt / Equity is rising.

Lucky for you, the market surged at the end of day.

It will get boot stomped tomorrow.
