Still Going
Some stocks are in a world of their own.
Look at GME.
Despite the weak consumer and rich valuation, the stock keeps going higher. Also, it is widely believed that gaming is resistant to economic slow downs.
Fund managers can’t get enough of the stock.
I can spit out a quick list of 52 week highs, but why bother?
Plus anyway, I’m too busy eating eggs with hashbrowns, than to go dig up meaningless data for a group of fucktards.
Just know, when stocks get “annointed” by wall street, they tend to bounce back faster than others, post market correction.
That’s why “The Fly” is not trying to get “cute” or “fancy” with his recent picks. He’s falling back on what has worked in the past, mainly because it’s the end of the year and nobody gives a shit about fundamentals.
It’s all about getting drunk, while throwing heavy hand tools at your trader/servant.
As for today’s trading:
Thus far it looks like we are setting up for a minor pullback, with chinese related names leading the way down. However, I would not sell short anything here. There is a better than average chance we will hit new highs, by year end.
Currently, there is weakness in many of the financials, with COF leading the pack of spastic retards.
For the most part, with the exception of AXP, the DOW looks solid.
Finally, looking for new ideas, I believe the internet advertising space is a good place to put money, ahead of the 2008 Presidential elections. As you know, there will be a “recockulous” amount of money spent on internet advertising, over the next 12 months.Without a doubt, both VCLK and OMTR will be in play.
NOTE: The MVIS CES run has begun.

Banking some serious coins with PAY. What a lovely scam.
December 7th, 2007 at 7:53 amDamn I just posted about GME in the other thread.
December 7th, 2007 at 7:55 amWatching NSM. It should be down about 3-4% after the AH release but it has turned around. It could be a signal to buy the chips today (for daytraders).
December 7th, 2007 at 7:56 amCubs:
Saw that.
I’m long GME from $6. I too am shocked at the relative strength.
December 7th, 2007 at 8:00 amRecockulous! Nice!
I still prefer “redonkulous.”
HURC looks to be in trouble. Top line miss I believe.
December 7th, 2007 at 8:00 amricockulous, retards.
December 7th, 2007 at 8:02 amRicola?
December 7th, 2007 at 8:03 amRicotta?
December 7th, 2007 at 8:03 amRay Liotta?
December 7th, 2007 at 8:04 amAlthough ridiculous has an ‘i’, Recockulous employs an ‘e’.
Look it up
December 7th, 2007 at 8:04 amCFC running!!

December 7th, 2007 at 8:18 amAngelo Mozilo is giving free tanning beds to CFC shareholders and anyone who takes out a mortgage with them. Get yours!
December 7th, 2007 at 8:21 amI want a solar panel instead.
December 7th, 2007 at 8:23 amRevelation-
Danny used ricockulous first, even before ibank was opened for business.
Therefore, the e version is simply a derivative.
As such, its patents are worthless.
December 7th, 2007 at 8:25 amFor stocks in a world of their own, see: ZIXI
Mentioned this on your blogspot blog last month, but reiterating:
ZIXI is GOOG’s (very quiet) encryption provider. They also provide those encryption services to lots of governmental/institutional clients.
In addition, they are also in the e-prescription business (a natural follow-on from secured communication).
New legislation presented in the last day or two to speed adoption of e-prescribing, including Medicare kickbacks to doctors for joining up. ZIXI extremely well-positioned.
Imagine a platform that holds patient information, holds/correlates insurance information, maintains (and suggests certain drugs in the) formulary, warns doctors of possible drug interactions, allows doctors to prescribe within an ins co’s formulary (saving big healthcare 3-5%, proven in small scale testing), removes “doctor scrawl” / “oops, sorry about your husband - wrong drug!” errors, etc.
ZIXI derives revenue from sale&service of/for the PDA prescription pads and/or internet portal, as well as per script. Also, lots of room for marketing tie-ins there, esp. in light of big pharma’s seeking new ways (other than hiring thousands of drug reps) to market to physicians.
For fly to adopt, maybe theme it: “Soak the sick!” ?
In at $3.50, $4.11, $4.50. Not going anywhere until GOOG makes an offer to gain foothold into healthcare information services.
December 7th, 2007 at 8:27 amBison-
December 7th, 2007 at 8:27 amYou would need to check with SOLF on that request.
Love the spam link on “mortgage.”
It makes this entire thread worthwhile.
December 7th, 2007 at 8:28 amFrom my friends who work at CES…
Rumor from CES is that MVIS has found a way to put a chicken rotisserie oven inside a cell phone. Due for mass production in 2008, this game changer is suppose to make the iPhone so 2007.
Developing…
December 7th, 2007 at 8:29 amFunny, I heard it was a George Forman grill.

December 7th, 2007 at 9:02 amInteresting… if only it was a paying job…
Fly, can you start a toy drive for my kid on this site? I can send a picture of some random dirty kid eating a cracker or something. Then, I’ll use the money to buy wine in a box.

December 7th, 2007 at 9:05 amMVIS approaching PALM in Marketcap.
December 7th, 2007 at 9:05 amI’m looking at battered “Major” China stocks right now, unjustified for HSI to drop like a rock last night IMO and I can see it jumping back on Monday. In some on CHL options. Got any other ideas?
December 7th, 2007 at 9:09 amDT,

December 7th, 2007 at 9:11 amI also have some Mattel

MVIS…giddy-up!
December 7th, 2007 at 10:03 amjeff — Like PWE and PVX. PVX has been beaten down particularly hard. Check out http://www.mcdep.com

December 7th, 2007 at 10:08 amConcur on PVX and PWE. Your thoughts on ERF?
thank you guys, seems too good to be true for the dividends…
December 7th, 2007 at 10:11 amHave a good weekend. 82 degrees and sunny and a dead market-going to the golf course.
December 7th, 2007 at 10:15 amjeff,
these companies operating margins are acceptable until about $50 oil.
the other issue is Canuck taxes, something I know little about, nor would I want to live there.
December 7th, 2007 at 10:16 amsantelli just took his newly awarded asshat trophy, and shoved it straight up leesman’s ass.
awaiting report from proctologist.
December 7th, 2007 at 10:16 amI’ve been in the Canroys since 2001. They ride up/down with oil/gas, and all have taken a hit with the 2006 “Halloween tax”, and most recently with the drop in oil. ERF is good also. Best to stick with the big players with consistent payout ratios. Also, you get the tax credit back on the tax the Canucks deduct, so better to have outside an IRA (you can’t claim the credit in the confines of an IRA)
December 7th, 2007 at 10:22 amWW
December 7th, 2007 at 10:42 amconcerns about Canuck taxes increasing from 15% rate to….?
Jeff, You can file for a foreign tax credit on your tax return …
December 7th, 2007 at 10:44 amGME was added to the S&P wasn’t it? That’s part of the reason for the run.
December 7th, 2007 at 10:53 amI’ve owned PGH and FDG for a while now. FDG has that funky coking coal. Not a lot of that around.
December 7th, 2007 at 11:19 amWhat’s the relationship between LIMM and Wang Hung Lo?
December 7th, 2007 at 11:26 amCFC running !!
out of gas
actually, i’m now looking to get long the tan one
December 7th, 2007 at 11:29 amalphadawgg — read through this:
http://www.dividenddetective.com/canadian_royalty_trusts.htm
December 7th, 2007 at 11:56 amBison — Wang Hung Lo is done by someone without a sense of humor.
This is evidenced by his inability to harvest even the lowest hanging fruit from the stereotypical comedy tree — viz, “Wun” should be the first name, not “Wang.”
December 7th, 2007 at 12:09 pmFly, what’s up with the commie (literally) mural on you head banner?
You gone Bolshie on us?
______________
Also, what is the story with Brooklyn Lincoln High School, they got “hella” hoops playahs or what?
December 7th, 2007 at 12:12 pmThis is a bore. Some real knuckledraggers round here.
I’m going to start posting on perezhilton.com with Woodshedder.
December 7th, 2007 at 12:21 pmAnybody else getting inundated with jerkoff email that says: “hi there”? and then asks if your favorite group is ace of base? I get like 10 a day, and delete the fuckers. I am sure they want a response to get a confirmed address.
I really wish i could “omaha mall” them.
December 7th, 2007 at 12:21 pmJeez. how long does it take to get a peanut gallery password? i was going to give you all the next CSCO pick of the decade.
