They’re like little tiny time bombs, waiting to blow your arms and legs off.

While NBIX holders are feeling mucho pain, RIGL holders are ecstatic.

  2. Juice Says:

    is COST a buy around 65 ?

  3. Mr. LIMM Says:

Let me consult my “Good Night Moon” text for that answer, Bruce…

    Hmmmmmm….

    Ah, here it is:

There was a comb and a brush,

And a bowl full of mush,

And a quiet old lady whispering “hush!”

  4. Juice Says:

I’ll take that as a ‘back up the truck’ !

    thx Jake

    BPOE MARKET ALERT: breakdown

We are in a Turd Hustler Market. 1. Buy extra toilet paper for the next seven weeks. 2. Put on your best Summer shorts and a pair of Crocs. The Crocs are in case you get Turd on your feet before you go home. They are very easy to clean. 3. Eat Uncle Bens rice until Jan. 31st at 2:15ET. This is for good luck!!!
NOTICE: If you are a [Chuck Wagon] person. You don’t have to buy toilet paper. Change your cloths or eat rice. Just call a broker from a pay phone. Tell the broker to buy some good ultra short ETF’s. Then pick some Turd Blossoms for good luck!!!

  7. JakeGrinch Says:

Larry sounds a lot like Gapster.

I’m not a big fan of biotech these days, but I do own some AMGN in the long term port.

I’m astounded it’s below $50. WTF, have all their patents been declared worthless?

  8. JakeGrinch Says:

    Bruce –

    Ominous warning GNM alert.

After your last post I randomly opened a page and “Goodnight nobody” came up!

  9. TraderCaddy Says:

AMGN would be a good buyout for one of the hopeless big pharmas like PFE.

  10. JakeGrinch Says:

I’m sorry, but any company that calls itself “Nastech” — I don’t care if they have the cure for bone cancer — deserves to have all its patents nationalized by the Romanian government.

  11. Juice Says:

You must have been short NSTK? Actually, I bought that turd a couple days ago.

  12. Bison Burger Says:

I shorted the day it gapped down. Jew boy been pimpin’/pumpin’ it.

  13. Bison Burger Says:

Are they done cuttin’ now? We got good retail numbers and an inflationary PPI.

  14. Leawoodblues Says:

For a list of biotech investments, please see webster’s definition of “trades gone bad”.

  15. Bison Burger Says:

    SCA is certified dead.

  16. House of Harkonnen Says:

Follow CSCO - it controls the Spice

  17. JakeGrinch Says:

    House of Harkonnen — hilarity.

Where’s Duke Leto when we need him?

  18. JakeGrinch Says:

    Bruce —

No, not short Nastech, just appalled by the idiocy of that name.

  19. kmorph Says:

MVIS is showing signes of life.

  20. Bison Burger Says:

Santa lives, and he’s a bear.

  21. Folding Time Worm Says:

I am going back to yesterday and shorting COST

  22. JakeGrinch Says:

BLDR has got to be buyout bait here.

    Same with ADCT.

  23. Bison Burger Says:

I’ve done well this year shorting the N-words from Novastar to Nastech. Just shorted NWK at open.

  24. gappingandyapping Says:

Holly shit FXP on fire today, thanks for the hat tip broker, I picked some up yesterday.

  25. JakeGrinch Says:

Looks like all of LAZarus’s mergers and acquisitions patents have been declared invalid.

    Word is “there’s ‘prior art’.”

  26. JakeGrinch Says:

Gap — was that you as “larry” above… or is that guy just knocking off your rant style?

  27. REIT stud Says:

SFI as a trade into divi ex-date.

  28. ASSHAT DIP BUYER Says:

    HEY SHORTS—

Is this really the best you can muster?

Pretty piss-poor is you ask me with futures portending fullbolwn apocalypse.

If your assjacks can’t mount a better effort than this, you half to know what’s coming next, don’t you?

Do I hear the sound of tinkling bells in the distanse?

  29. Bison Burger Says:

Going long and short is the way to win. Sometimes you have to let the dogs run. Like FSLR and AAPL.

  30. ASSHAT DIP BUYER Says:

Where’s Devil Dog-Dick when you need him.

At least he had a little mauxie!

  31. Snoopdog Says:

    Asshat Dip -

which dialect of ebonics is that?

  32. gappingandyapping Says:

Jake: Wasn’t me, I don’t hide my identity. You can see me in person daily harassing traders at the Merc. I will be there today eating at the restaurant.

  33. REIT Stud Says:

never mind SFI - floating stock
    no rebound trade

  34. Juju bear Says:

With all the grief JJ has gotten for SWC, anybody think it is a short candidate here at $10?

  35. JakeGrinch Says:

Asshat dip… it’s possible this is your first taste of bear.

The meat is greasy and unlike that of it’s taurean counterpart.

Greasily, it allows asshat dip buyers to think “phew, that was a close one,” before lodging itself in your lower alimentary tract and causing Crone’s Syndrome-like pain to your portfolio for years to come.

    Let the dip buyer beware.

  36. Dinosaur Trader Says:

The “JJ fade trade” long FSLR, short SWC is working beautifully again today.

JJ, any other picks? Oh wait… PAL. Wow, looks like a cliff!

  37. TraderCaddy Says:

Watching Homebuilders for a daytrade- TOL,LEN,KBH,RYL

  38. JJ Says:

I’m playing “loaded handgun toss” today

  39. Juju bear Says:

JJ, one word of advice: Catch it with the barrel pointing toward you.

  40. KC Trader Says:

SNY is a still with this pullback in the sector. SNY will break out in the next week or so up to the 58$ range. The fundamentals are just too good in the company. This is a great long term buy.
