With the earnings season kicking off tomorrow, I suspect the market will rally today.
However, should [[AA]] report a bowser number, look for the indices to go right back down.
Aside from the numbers, another problem investors face is the fucktardedness of analysts, who will be rushing to downgrade the stocks they cover. Call it “PE compression.”
Essentially, most analysts do not have recession baked into their models. Therefore, in order to avoid looking like stupid cupfuckers, they will all rush to “price it in,” sometime this week or next.
In the meantime, enjoy the bounce–for it will be short lived.

There may be a little bounce here because of last week and those trying to get a jump on a possible positive earning quarter. However, a lot of damage has been done and it will take running the earnings board to turn this around on a dime (aka, face ripper). We would need financials, technology, housing, etc. to surprise. Even if you got that, how do you explain 5% unemployment, 19k jobs, etc. Naw, you are in hope mode – I have been there many, many times. Do not for a second believe you have special abilities to turn this market with positive thinking. Best thing for you to do is to get out of your longs on this bounce, look objectively at what the fundies are saying together with the technicals, and wade back in the waters when your head is straight.
