That song reminded me of a Steve Earle tune that mixes my Irish and Southern tendencies. The first part of this is a little bit of history (with a little hippy bullshit mixed in), but the song starts about 2:20. It’s about crazy fuggin Irishmen fighting in the Civil War against Shed and his peoples:
excellent song
