Impressive Action; Now Sell
We’re still going lower, at least for today. Too many sectors are red. Plus, I travel around in a fucking plutonium powered time machine. Generally, it’s a bad idea to bet against the guy in the time machine.
I’m too jaded to dive into empty pools. It’s not my cup of coffee, over here. However, knowing many of you enjoy to take concrete swims, I will share my intra-day momo screen.
[[JRJC]], [[SEED]], [[CPSL]], [[WBD]], [[KR]], [[EWST]], [[LNG]], [[CPE]], [[UPL]], [[XTO]], [[STO]], [[SU]], [[ROYL]], [[PDO]], [[BEXP]], [[HOS]], [[OXY]], [[PXP]], [[MXC]], [[FPP]], [[SOLF]], [[MPET]], [[SUF]], [[EGY]], [[BIDZ]], [[BCSI]], [[NTES]], [[OSTK]], [[ZOLT]], [[BVN]], [[NEM]], [[SWC]], [[RIO]], [[FNSR]], [[OPTM]], [[LVLT]], [[LLNW]], [[EXTR]], [[AWRE]], [[IKAN]], [[HLIT]], [[CAVM]], [[DRYS]], [[DSX]], [[GNK]], [[EXM]], [[MBT]], [[QCOM]], [[URS]], [[WLT]], [[TITN]], [[BG]], [[CX]], [[SI]], [[SQM]], [[BMC]], [[TIBX]], [[TDS]], [[CYBS]], [[VMED]], [[WLL]], [[CNX]] and [[TOT]].
Currently, my favorite sector is oil/gas. I’m long several names, as you know. However, I am looking to add a few, on a pullback, if possible.
Based upon valuation, I might buy the following:
[[NE]], [[ESV]], [[PKD]], [[NTG]], [[TTES]], [[CRR]], [[CAM]], [[BOLT]], [[HES]], [[REP]], [[PCZ]] and for a swing at the fence: [[FTK]].

Notice how all the crap stocks are ripping…Odd no?
May 16th, 2008 at 1:33 pmWe are a little tapped out - can anybody here float us a loan?

May 16th, 2008 at 1:42 pmGold ripping higher is raising some serious red flags for me…
Bond market (2yr yield) is raising inflation flags too.
I can’t believe we are saying “fuck it” towards inflation; I’m going to load on Gold.
May 16th, 2008 at 1:43 pmDucati,
I don’t watch Disney films. Let me guess though… Pinocchio sees his parents slaughtered in front of his eyes?
As for being “the Fly’s” conscience, I guess it beats being his sexual drive.

May 16th, 2008 at 1:46 pmMVIS holding its own fuckers. Will be a wild Monday if we see a close >$4.00. If that happens, you will see Fly scrambling to accumulate, thereby boosting profits for us believers to mind boggling heights. Better get my oxygen tank on.
BTW Fly - did you catch Krull’s video today? He blew out 3 of his accounts and is thinking about quiting the business. Tragic. There but for the grace of god…well, you know.
May 16th, 2008 at 1:48 pmMike I agree its worrisome.
May 16th, 2008 at 1:48 pmHaving any discussion with Lord Duc, God of the Crickets, is equal to having your head beat in with a baseball bat, over and over.
Same shit, different day.
May 16th, 2008 at 1:49 pmI only a small MVIS position, in my personal account. I never sold.
However, I will NOT buy the fucker, until late summer.
May 16th, 2008 at 1:50 pm“KeyCorp, Ohio’s third-biggest bank, and Regions Financial Corp., Alabama’s largest bank, led financial shares lower after Merrill Lynch said “credit weakness” may reduce profits.”
Holly shit these fucks say it “may reduce profits”? What profits, these fuckers should not be making profits right now or the FED is out of control.

May I remind you, Indian Spiritual Leader, that you sir, are an asshat. Erin’s “head” is pretty nice.
May 16th, 2008 at 2:57 pmFly,
Not that long ago you said you’d buy MVIS under $3. Now you say you will NOT buy until late summer. Do you see a BIG pullback from here, or is this one of those deals where down the road it may appear that you lost, but really winning? I’m so confused.
May 16th, 2008 at 2:58 pmgapping&crapping
I’m from East of Eden, not native American …. look yonder my boy & yee shall see, the branches of an olive tree.
Just south of the Himalyas, north of Punjab, east of Timbor, west of Ganji.
Speaking of which, I could use some ganja right about now.
May 16th, 2008 at 2:59 pmCramer says this oil move is for real. Buy buy buy like its the last day to own stocks!
May 16th, 2008 at 3:00 pmMy original game plan was to buy MVIS in the second half of ‘08.
I’m sticking to it.
However, should it dip under $3, I might nibble.
May 16th, 2008 at 3:03 pmRe: MVIS
Any close above $4.50 with volume on the weekly chart is a super bullish sign. Seems to me that Fly is speculating on the cyclical shit with MVIS given their cute little products are designed to entice during the holiday season (buy in late summer in anticipation of the end of year runup). That’s what he did last year and the run didn’t materialize because MVIS could not get their shit together. Nobody knows whether they will get their shit together this year; however, there are a number of speculators willing to get into position early in the year to find out. The number of gadgets and relationships they have made leaves us hopeful. Bottom line, nobody knows nothin about MVIS. However, money is coming into the stock now and any close above $4.50 on good volume should make you wonder.
May 16th, 2008 at 3:08 pmBig short on KEY here!
May 16th, 2008 at 3:48 pmMVIS has a pattern of running up before trade shows on rumors and speculation. Been buying since Dec ‘06 and burned for 50% unrealized loss when the stock dropped under 2 but still holding. While I still believe the company will deliver at some point later this year or early next year, the fact is that many of these momentum/rumor moves were unsustainable. I see this pattern happening until something fundamentally changes: huge reduction in cash burn or positive earnings, actual release date of picop, or details of NDA with unnamed manufacturer. If the stock hits $4.5, taking half off the table.
May 16th, 2008 at 4:19 pmAt 1:30, Fly said “We’re still going lower, at least for today. Too many sectors are red. Plus, I travel around in a fucking plutonium powered time machine. Generally, it’s a bad idea to bet against the guy in the time machine.”
Time machine broken, Fly?
May 16th, 2008 at 4:47 pmDow closed down 6.
Fly wins again.
May 16th, 2008 at 4:52 pmCAM is breaking out and is about to tip the shit out of everything
