You’re All Cowards
I do not need to boast or brag about my win over Woodshedder, for it is not befitting of a gentleman.
That would be equal to taking playdoh from a baby or even worse: his starters guide to technical analysis.
With Gustav barreling down on worthless swaths of land, “The Fly” intends to bank a little coin in a variety of energy stocks. He does not need your approval or encouragement.
“The Fly” possesses the courage equal to 100 lions inside a laser tag gym filled with trapped zebras. I will bank my coin, then spend it on something stupid.
Thank you very much.
This morning, my “calculator brain” and I are enjoying large gains in Arena Resources, Inc. [[ARD]] , [[DIG]] , [[IEO]] , Global Industries, Ltd. [[GLBL]] , Ultra Petroleum Corp. [[UPL]] and Clean Energy Fuels Corp. [[CLNE]] .
Oh, I’m also up on some other stocks too, like Barnes & Noble, Inc. [[BKS]] , Southern Copper Corporation (USA) [[PCU]] and Yamana Gold Inc. (USA) [[AUY]] .
I’ll leave you all with this video, which will explain my position, rather vividly.

Fuck you too Princess
August 27th, 2008 at 10:14 amVolume on CLNE is strong too. Very nice to see even with nat gas prices up.
August 27th, 2008 at 10:20 amSomeone needs to take a pillow to that old cracker’s head, breathing holes “up,” and put him out of his family’s misery.
I imagine the struggle would be minimal.

August 27th, 2008 at 10:32 amI am taking off the hedges, selling most of my SRS-SKF.
Long bias is imminent.
August 27th, 2008 at 10:33 amIt appears The Fly has stolen this gentle mans act.
And so far, it appears to be Govy Cheese Wednesday.
August 27th, 2008 at 10:37 amQuite the contrary.
And, it is always Gov’t cheese Wednesday.
August 27th, 2008 at 10:39 amNice work Fly.
I believe today’s move placed ARD right at resistance. I do not have access to my rulers and crayons at work, so I’m not sure. I would still be careful as long as it is under resistance. Actually, this would be a perfect place to sell it short, were you so inclined. I know you are not.
Thank you for not altering my header with a Snoopy montage.

August 27th, 2008 at 10:41 amFly, where are your stops placed for your energy longs?
August 27th, 2008 at 10:43 amStops are for cowards.
I will sell when the great whore can suckle no more.
August 27th, 2008 at 10:44 amAccording to Shedder’s chart, ARD needs to close above $48 to break through overhead resistance. Not there yet.
August 27th, 2008 at 10:48 amI can’t remember the last time the Hurricane trade was this overcrowded.
Everybody I know has a trade on Gustav.
I’m out.
August 27th, 2008 at 10:52 amIt’s the “in” thing to do.
August 27th, 2008 at 10:53 amActually, Shed is correct. ARD will have to break over $48 in order for Fly to have his “dance of joyful Shed humiliation.”
Thus far, we are only halfway to the dance.
Let the bitter recriminations and increasingly “near-profane” badinage continue!

August 27th, 2008 at 11:14 amWhat the fuck effect can a lousy hurricane in the Gulf have on oil prices? The oil production from the Gulf doesn’t amount to JACK SHIT as a percent of global supply. The Saudis or Hugo Chavex could crack their spigots open 1/8 more turn and compensate for that TOKEN Gulf loss.
We currently have an OIL GLUT and Gustav won’t change that even if he takes out ALL Gulf production.
Fly has lucked out with the market’s premature Gustav ejaculation. I suggest we SHORT Fly’s long oil picks right here and now.
August 27th, 2008 at 11:15 amGustav was a member of the Village People.
August 27th, 2008 at 11:15 amFinewine:
You musy have florescent yellow playdoh in your head, replacing your brain.
Go ahead, short them all. You know better.
August 27th, 2008 at 11:20 amFineWine,
There isn’t a lot of spare capacity in the oil and gas industry, so any disruption will lead to higher prices. Hurricane Katrina caused extensive damage to oil and gas infrastructure, including drilling platforms, pipelines and refineries, so everyone is hoping for a repeat.
August 27th, 2008 at 11:21 amTSO doesn’t have any coastal refineries…….although I guess that would’ve been valuable information….yesterday……
August 27th, 2008 at 11:23 amSorry, didn’t see Dogwood’s note… “Actually Shed AND DOGWOOD are correct…”
__
August 27th, 2008 at 11:24 amFinewine must be correct. The sell EUR/JPY/GBP and buy USD seems to trump the cane trade.
August 27th, 2008 at 11:29 amFlorescent yellow playdoh or Mountain Dew?
