This rally sounds about the same sort of rationality now that I think about it. There is no reason to rally off this other than to sell out of everything that dropped in your portfolio last week.
Enjoy the volatility while it lasts. When the air goes out of this particular balloon there will be an ugly drop – as I said before regarding 1929 – there was a volatility spike in the 2Q and THEN the October crash.

jig – my experience is that when you try to “make back losses” you are acting from desperation and will make worse mistakes. do not gamble. you will be deballed. i have learned from past mistakes.

I don’t know how it is in the US, but in Canada, Thanksgiving is a goofy holiday. I don’t know anyone who “gives thanks”, just a bunch of people who use it as an excuse to see each other (many family members only do it by obligation) and eat turkey together.
