This market needs to set a significant higher low. It’s the only way to pull more greedy fools into the funnel.

The cost of borrowing in dollars for three months between banks dropped the most in eight weeks as government and central bank efforts to unlock credit markets showed signs of bearing fruit.

The London interbank offered rate, or Libor, for such loans fell almost three basis points to 0.85 percent today, according to the British Bankers’ Association. The Libor-OIS spread, a measure of the unwillingness of banks to offer each other cash, narrowed three basis points to 65 basis points, the lowest level since June 16.

Libor, a benchmark gauge for about $360 trillion of financial products around the world from student loans to mortgages, has tumbled as the U.S. government and the Federal Reserve pledged $12.8 trillion to drag the economy out of its longest recession since the 1930s.

the market right here right now is in a tug of war between the bulls and the bears, right now it is even strength between the two, the question is which side will have a member trip and fall and cause a weak point in the line to cause them to dive face first and eat dirt?

I accept the best of the best to answer this?

I think the cubs are throwing everything at it including the kitchen sink. Toss up but I reckon we close higher today. It just seems to me there’s a decent amount of dip buying that isn’t playing with scared money.

j – – I don’t think that’s the case. IMO there are an absence of buyers, no big selling. The dip buyers are coming in after big selling. There is a staredown probably taking place waiting for each side to trow the first blow. Bears are looking for a place to attack. Look like oils may be the spot as the dip buyers are coming into the banks and holding them in a good spot early. Oils look weak, Techs look strong

    Started: April 5th, 2009

    04/05/2009:

    S&P 500: 842.50

    Dow/Gold Ratio: 8.98

Long Term- A Depression that will dwarf the Great Depression (will occur in a hyperinflationary state)

Long Term- Bond Bubble to burst (U.S. Treasury is the only buyer)

Long Term- Unemployment to rise substantially above 25%

Long Term- Commercial Real Estate Bubble to burst (more severe than housing burst; will become more severe at the end of this year and really begin to go bust next year when loans default)

Long Term- Fall of Dollar: latest intermediate rally in the dollar was due to the excessive shorting of the currency which resulted into a short squeeze (New World Reserve Currency)

Long Term- Massive Gold Bubble to emerge (expect to see the Dow/Gold Ratio to get very close to or exactly at a 1:1 ratio)

Long Term- Re-rise of Oil Bubble (will get above the previous high)

Long Term- Multiple year rise in Agricultural Commodities

Intermediate Term- Big Bear Market Rally

    04/20/2009:

    S&P 500: 832.39

    Dow/Gold Ratio: 8.97

Long Term (Update) – Fall of Dollar: Will top out in a Head and Shoulders pattern

Long Term- India and China to exceed America in all forms of economic growth

Long Term- Once the hyperinflation gets into severe motion, expect prices of everything to rise substantially (even the stock market; reference: Zimbabwe)

Long Term- Expect any country that follows the guidelines of the U.S. recovery to avoid a protracted recession to have similar results as the U.S. in economic recovery; also expect that other countries that follow the U.S. monetary policy to have a corrupt government in which the top bankers have setup a similar “rigged” economy for the country

Long Term- Expect the interest rates to rise substantially

Long Term- Expect a rise in talks of more state secessions in U.S. (don’t be surprised to see strong political movement to actually secede a state in the future)

Long Term- Expect U.S. to get into another war in the Middle East (war always benefits the rich) – it will be a purposely prolonged war in order to reap more profits for the international bankers

Long Term- Will see more “New World Order” talks in an effort for globalization (one world government)

Long Term- Expect more of your Constitutional rights to be taken away in another effort to control the public; will lead to Revolution

Long Term- Expect Universities to have heavy financial troubles; many will go bankrupt

    04/25/2009:

    S&P 500: 866.23

    Dow/Gold Ratio: 8.85

Long Term- Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Bubble to burst: Expect regional banks to get hit hard due to the fact that they financed the overleveraged CRE’s

Long Term- Expect the military might of the U.S. to fall much like the Soviet Union did previously

Long Term- Unless serious actions are taken by the citizens of the world, expect to see the international bankers to become more powerful, and rich in an effort to control “everything” from the palm of their hands

You’ve pretty much covered it dude. The only thing missing on your website is the ads where we can buy all the neat survival gear by the decent brands such as Ralph Lauren, North Face and of course Prada for the gals.

Does Perrier (with the lemon twist) come in survival packaging?
