From monitoring the comments and posts, I have ascertained that some of you who frequent this blog are saying, “what the fuck is up with this election stuff?”…”who are these fuckwad candidates?”….and…”what’s in it for me if I vote?”
Let me tell you. I feel your frustration. Remember when so many had good commentaries? Remember when people posted meaningful, actionable ideas? However, as of late, there have been some internets that have treated The Flys beloved blog like their personal ass-clownish carnival of homeless people. Has it really come down to this?
Now don’t get me wrong. IBC is a first tier blog of the highest order. But, I’m pointing out a trend that I am starting to see where certain derelicts with a computer are invading this space. We shall not name names. That’s not why I’m posting this.
On the eve of the upcoming election, allow me to put forth my platform. Yes, every campaign has a platform. Most of you can see through the “hey, vote for me…I’m cool…here’s $500″, bullshit.
Know this: If I am fortunate enough to win this election, I will commit to the following:
1. You will receive at least one “stock of the week” post on an actionable idea, long or short, and why. You will not get, “hey buy this, ’cause it’s going through the roof”, or “hey, short the shit out of this stock, ’cause it’s circling the toilet bowl”.
2. Market commentaries and perspective gleaned and edited from my reputable sources, not some Joey-Bag-O-Donuts Market Letter.
3. Technical analysis and commentary using archaic, but surprisingly effective Point and Figure methods, to give you another perspective.
4. I will also put pressure on Jake to limit his “alter egos” to five or less (we have to start somewhere).
5. Let’s work together to eradicate the egregious practice of replacing of “l” with “r” by those who try to sound Chinese. It’s gotten old. Not funny.
6. Promote world peace.
7. Finally, I will donate my salary and revenue sharing proceeds to the Humane Society, for an intervention to prevent Leonard the Monkey from getting drunk on the “golden shower”.
A vote for me, is a vote for a Street Fighting Man
You have no idea what measures I am about to take on these assholes.
Just today, “Iron Fist Fly” banned 3 losers. I will be rejected bullshit commentary, especially essays more than 1,000 words.
I promise this: after the elections, we’re back to business and will annihilate those who get in our way (we, as in the Godly folks at iBC, fyi).

Fly, the comments are fucked up, need a real time comment monitor or something to that effect to keep all that trash out.
May 5th, 2008 at 11:15 pmLeonard, don’t know how long you’ve been around, but the comments section has been much worse than this before. Fly lost a lot of assholes when the blogged moved to ibank domain.
Alpha, good post. However, I really like the fake Chinese accents. Please don’t take that away.

Wood—it’s not up to me to ban the fake Chinese accents. However, the Fly has commented, in no uncertain terms, that those who fake Chinese accents are racists. I have to admit, it used to be funny when Jake did it, but I think some others have copycat-ed the GintMan, aka Mr. LIMM.
