It was a superb weekend with friends and family.

Weather was great, and my belly was stuffed with all sorts of delicacies.

I wake this morning to hear a bird singing beautiful songs of THE BANKS GOING TO HELL!

Yes folks, Merrideth Whitney broke the sounds of silence saying the Banks are dead. She is talking about lower revenues, job cuts, regulation over credit cards, society and business not being able to fund purchases due to extremely tight lending scenarios.

It is music to my ears to hear about capital structure deteriorating from material write downs going forward to restructuring costs to accelerating loan losses stretching into 2009-2010.

In other news Asia sucked harry balls on Mondays trade bouncing back last night while Europe had furry balls last night after their Holiday week…end.

The dollar is down a little while oil is edging higher. If we do not see any sell off in oil this week I think it is Honey Mooner time”bang, zoom, right to the moon Alice.”

With take over bids in the beverage space I think it is clear people are bracing for a serious recession. By the way a note to the bankers: “FUCK YOU! YOU’RE DEAD.”

My local Mobil gas station owner said he is being told $6 is very probable this year. But you know people say alot of things. On the other hand with diesel @ $5.43 I’m thinking maybe.
