The important matter of Evilby hattery on June 27th, 2008 at 12:52 pm |
That’s Dr. Evil. Where did the character Dr. Evil come from? What was Mike Myer’s inspiration? I think I have discovered where.

Now of course once I found this out, I immediately knew I had to short the stock.
After all, there’s a clear “bad toupee combover” breakdown, headed for 0.

Now don’t worry non chart chompers, I’m not going to be lazy today. I looked at the fundimentals, and they appear to show a clear pattern as well. They all are red and negative.
ROI, ROE, ROA. All negative. Earnings per share growth, sales growth… both negative. Gross margin ok I found one positive. But the net profit margins. Negative. Operating margins? Negative. Pretax Margin? Negative. Now compare this to other crappy casino stocks that also point south as business drys up and their profits shrink.
WYNN. Every single thing mentioned above is positive, except EPS growth. positive cashflow per share, something that “the donald” can’t even boast about.
MGM actually looks strong in comparrison, with everything mentioned above positive, as well as positive cashflow per share.
And even the lowly LVS managed to have razor thin margins and squeek by having everything positive but EPS growth.
Now debt is okay if you’re making money, particularly if you have strong margins and growth and a lot of equity, as you can use it as leverage to grow faster, and make more money.
But it can compound the losses if the above is not true.
So now that we know that “The Donald’s” company is not doing so well, we can see how magnified the losses will be in these tough times, and whether or not he’s in position to borrow more money to expand and come up with enough assets to get back in the green.
But before we do that, lets look at WYNN, MGM, and LVS so you have a reference point.
WYNN LT Debt/equity:2.08 Total debt/equity:2.08
MGM LT Debt/equity 2.51 Total debt/equity 2.51
LVS LT Debt/equity: 3.62 Total debt/equity:3.65
So where in this 2-3.5 range is TRMP? He’s no where near that range. In fact, if you double that range, he’s still just outside of it.
TRMP LT Debt/equity: 7.89 Total debt/equity:7.91
OUCH! By comparrison, Merril Lynch has a LT debt/equity of 7.24.
Rosy is a disgusting pig? Takes one to know one

So it is with great pleasure that I say to you Mr. Trump… you’re fired.
Short TRMP
Disclaimer: If you short TRMP, Donald Trump will come for you in your sleep, force Rosie to have sex with him on top of you, then shave your head and staple an ugly toupee to your head. And, you may lose money.
Also, The opinions expressed in this article are written by some random “internet punk” and may not neccesarily be those of IBC. But in all reality, are probably damn close.

This is what happens when your ego is the size of Manhattan, you don’t learn from your mistakes (see 1980’s Trump bankruptcy revisited) and you lower company morale by allowing TV reality show “winners” to take positions beside people who understand what the fuck their doing.
