What a week to be financial geek. I knew when I received that check from the treasury a couple of months ago that it was probably more like a STIMULUS LOAN.

Whats interesting to me about the economy is that it just doesn’t get the coverage of the mainstream media and thus the nation is clueless about whats really going on with their lives and assets.  In reality this weekend and the next few weeks are monumental in importance to the United States and the world.  Going into China in August with this stink is not going to be good.  The most actives on the NYSE looks like an Aprils Fools day prank.  We have about 100 Enrons X 2 happening simultaneously.

The market just can’t sustain any follow thru…from incredible rate cuts to stimulus packages to more alphabet soup.  I know its shitty when I find myself googling [sic] all of these acronyms.

I really believe that we will adjust to whatever circumstances come our way.  I mean who could of envisioned the internet 15 years ago (besides Al Gore of course).  Maybe Ducati will invent the new battery and claim his 300 million prize now that would be Odd No!  It could happen

Small cars are now the rage…so the Yoga Moms will now trade in the Range Rover for the Prius[sic] pretty simple.  Its not like we weren’t doing the same shit 30 years ago…can you say Ford Fiesta–Gremlin (hey buddy where is the other 1/2 of Car)  Chevy METRO–The Civic..—– Look when Americans get back to the values of family, education, savings, work ethic…we we’ll better for it.  Sure I know when we kick out all of the egregious shit in our lives the economy will take a hit but in the end we will be stronger.

I liked TC’s definition of capitulation:
