Whats that headline you ask?…easy–it’s the theme song to the Olympics.  Tonight  I’ll settle in and watch some of the freakshow known as Ladies Gymnastics.  This promises to be some good TV.  This night is usually in my top 3 for Olympic drama.

I’m also a big sucker for the Men’s 100,200,400 and 400 relay ….USA…USA….USA

I watched USA V China Bball on Sunday…best comment of the Day…”The USA mens basketball team is making a concentrated effort to mingle with the the regular athletes at the Olympic Village.”  What a joke…

I would like to send out a big thank you to Fly and Company for all their work.   This is weird but “Gentle Fly” is starting to grow on me.  The more Fly lays on the Eddie Haskell the meaner and nastier Wood gets.  I think I saw a Twilight Zone episode of this once.  Krazy Shit.

I like [WAG] to bust thru 40 short term.

I’d say [GRMN] and [GLW] have some run in them.

Heres some macro KaKa [sic]— More good reasons for the market to go to 1350

    Nice list.

Why is everyone so big on GLW? When I look at a long term chart I see nothing to get excited about. Anyways, there is one name that wasn’t listed that should be, Sears Holdings. Guess what, the chart looks tits right here butting up against the 200 day. I will be getting Short SHLD asap.

  2. Gio Says:

lolololol at your headline. Steve and Barry’s opened up a store here in hawaii 3 months ago. I kid you not, these are the banners on their wall:

    May … pre-sale!
    June … grand opening sale!
    July … closing out sale!

    What the?

  3. Gio Says:

Damn. Now you got that stupid Olympic song stuck in my head.

  4. mrkcbill Says:

Gio that is funny … I wish you would of taken some pics.

1st time I went there … I said to myself, how can they sell this shit for $10 for a sweater… than I bought one. Even with the shmata’s they were selling you would of thought they would of done the volume at those prices. I must confess I talked my 13 year old into wearing “The Marbury” and he thought it was cool. Those babies set me back $15. Of course it didn’t last…his last shoes were NIKE’s @ $125

  5. Gio Says:

“The Marbury” shoes, oh my, hahahaa! How about the “Big Ben Wallace” jerseys. You couldn’t pay me $10 to try it on in the dressing room. I did however buy a bunch of those graphic t-shirts and gave them to some friends (I got one for my buddy that said “I’m with Stupid” and the arrow points UP).

Marbury was a bad investment to everyone, especially the Knicks.

Nike’s at $125… your boy has fine taste. Wait til he starts matching his hat, backpack and shirt with his shoes… that’ll set you back $200 easy.

  6. DPeezy Says:

Who the hell shops at those stores anyway?! Except for Starbucks (and PacSun, like 5 years ago), I’m not sure I’ve ever stepped foot inside one of them.

    ____

Not a huge fan of watching the 12-year old ‘lady’ gymnasts compete…but I love the rest of the Olympics.

  7. ottnott Says:

LA Times has a great graphic on the topic of underagedsized Chinese gymnasts.

One of them is 68 pounds. Five of them are under 80 pounds.

My son isn’t quite 7 yet, and skinny as hell, and he weighs close to 60 pounds.

Check out some of their other graphics. Fascinating for Olympics junkies.

    Cool links, ottnot.
There is absolutely no way China is NOT cheating.
