As the launch date of the much hyped PPT approaches, iBankCoin is working hard to establish an international presence in addition to the ever expanding USandA audience.  According to ‘The Fly’, this is done in an effort to “milk the Chinese farmer” and apply the “homo-hammer” to the Russian stock market with an ever greater efficiency.
And what avenue is iBC pursuing to expand its international audience? Â Advertising, of course. Â In one of the most visible and popular sports in the world nonetheless: Â Formula 1! Â For you yokels, that’s like NASCAR, but with open wheels and lots of turns, of varying radii, and in both directions.
Behold:
On a personal note, I would have rather liked to see these adverts on a McLaren, powering my boy Lewis to his victories (like his masterful drive in China this weekend), instead on the evil red cars of ‘The House that Schumacher (re-)Built’. Â Oh well.
NOTE: Â In case y’all wanna follow DPeezy down the road of options, OTB-style, throw a strangle/straddle on Apple Inc. [[AAPL]] , Illumina, Inc. [[ILMN]] , Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc. [[FCX]] , and/or Wachovia Corporation [[WB]] tomorrow (pre-earnings).
NOTE II: Â Be sure to check out the previous post in the PG. Â It’s one of the best I’ve seen.

As a nice Italian boy from New Jersey all I can say is Ferrari is F1.

Infineon Raceway offers racing school/fucking around school w/Formula 4s. I’ve taken a couple of classes and would keep going until I had my racing license if the course wasn’t so far away. The course is fun, but I kind of drive like that on the roads out here.
Sign me up for iBC license plates, spinners and other “ghetto jewelry.”

Infineon is an hour and a half from my house. Been there a few times, although never for the Formula 4s (just watched them race). But from my limited experience, it’s an excellent track with a lot of elevation change. Like that hill after the start/finish line.
Last time I was there for the Audi R8 demo/drive. I need to get me one of those. But that requires a) a hit on somebody already on the waiting list and b) a few more winning tips from The Fly.
October 20th, 2008 at 8:42 pmDPeez, don’t you like soccer too?
For a ghetto kid, you sure got a lotta Europhag tastes…

That Audi is one great-looking car. Keep an eye out for the new Lexus sports car (not the IS-F; I can’t remember the call letters). It’s 500hp and has some new transmission and steering system that distributes power to each tire more efficiently.
It’ll be pricey, too, but Lexus is investing a lot in making this their first legit sports car, so it’ll probably have a great warranty. If you go to those “Taste of Lexus” things, they might have one to drive this year.
But what I really want is a Tesla. Of course, the last time I drove a Lotus I was about 19 and still felt like I’d been folded up in the glove box when I tried to get out of the car.
But first we must bank more coin! Bring on the PPT! We demand the PPT!
October 20th, 2008 at 9:00 pmJake: I’m a man of the world. In touch with the homies on both sides of the Pond.
Anton: I think you mean the LF-A. Rumoured to come out around 2010-12…mid-mounted 500hp V8 or V10. The true successor to the once awesome Supras.
October 20th, 2008 at 11:55 pmRe: Tesla - didn’t they just lay off like 90% of their workforce?
Re: PPT - bring it!
October 21st, 2008 at 12:00 amPeez,
October 21st, 2008 at 4:22 amYes, LF-A. Last year, they told me it was coming out 2008. Guess that would be, like, by now. Only drove one Supra. Way overpowered for its weight & power distribution. Didn’t hear Tesla had dropped its workforce. Pity if that’s over before it started.
Not quite 90%; more like less than 50%.
October 21st, 2008 at 9:34 amBut, they’re delaying the new model and focusing on making the roadster ‘profitable’. Language like that always stinks of bigger issues:
