Excellent technical analysis.
I sold out of all my longs at the end of the day today, with the exception of Boeing (BA) and BEAV (the trade will either play it over the weekend, or it won’t).
We’ll see.
In my view, there really is no edge initiating new longs here, given the move we’ve just had off the lows. Nor do I want to be short. At this point, I sit back and wait to see how shit plays out.
My intuition tells me the market still has a little juice left, but I’d like to see some sideways action next week. At these levels, the tape needs to “earn my trust”, before I can start nibbling and building positions for the next leg higher.
Btw: I’m with RC 100% here on the solars. That’s the trade for the next few weeks given the probable Obama victory. YGE is okay. My favorite play in the space and best of breed is Applied Materials (AMAT).
