In other news, been working like a dog all weekend, anointing the interior of our brand spanking new home with the latest designer hues…much to the Mrs.’ liking. My fingers ache so much from all the taping that I can barely type. (Speaking of which, Green FrogTape is worth its weight in gold. Perfect edges!) But now that the walls have received their 10 gallons of paint, we’re ready to move on to power tool phase and start putting up some shutters, drapes, and whatever other decorations she unearths. Itchy trigger finger, here I come!
Uh…anyway. Only 1 notable trade lined up for Monday: SPY Dec’09 107. puts – the $CPCI has flagged for a contrarian short (Friday’s reading: 1.61; thresholds at 1.57 & 1.09).
Friday saw little action as well. A few positions stopped out at the protective stop, so I made myself feel better by turning the BX calls into a daytrade and booking them at the close for a handy 20%. This brings the account’s “booked” value to +2% for the month…
Futures looking good right now, so I have high hopes of further/better profits on Monday.
