May your trading be better than Bill Belichick’s “Let’s go for it on 4th & 2 from our own 28 with 2 minutes left in the game!” call.  WTF was that?!  Just about the most retarded thing I’ve seen on a football field…and I watch the Raiders on a regular basis!

_______

Just like last week, the contrarian “system” based on the CBOE index put/call ratio ($CPCI) has turned bullish to open the week.  Both last Friday (13th) and the Friday before (6th), the day’s final reading was above the upper threshold (1+ std.dev. away from the 6-mo.avg.) and is thus considered a contrarian long signal for the next day.

The $CPCI-system has actually been doing fairly good over the past few weeks, after a lackluster September & October, and is a 5-trade winning streak, including a nice 30% win on last week’s trade (SPY 107. calls).

My order for some SPY Dec’09 110. calls is now ready to go.  May it be consecutive win #6.

Other than that, my portfolio has been rather stagnant – no trades at all on Friday…can’t remember the last time that happened (had several bearish put trades lined up, but none were filled).  I’m currently holding a fair amount of semi-worthless leftovers, although there’s always hope that they’ll come back to life like STP & WFR did on Friday:

open-closed

I will look to play some more solar via ENER calls (@11.).  Also on tap are puts in GOOG (@565.) & TBT (@46.64) as well as calls in SRS (@9.25).

Whoever is screwing with your posts should lay off. Nice call this morning.

    Word.
Thank you, Mr. Thaler. Listen to your King, Peanuts!

Lovin’ STP…on fire, yet again. Sadly, ENER has not jumped on board the solar rocket yet…
    SLB working nicely as well.

  3. Mr. Cain Thaler says:

SLB is king of all oil services; been holding since the high $30’s, haha.

As much as my instinct is telling me to book STP, my tealeaves & trading rules say to keep it. So I’ll hang on to that and most everything else. Might regret this tomorrow…

Booking TBT puts (filled this morning) for a daytrade.

Listen, douchebag, nobody’s forcing you to read any of this.

Now, kindly, get off my lawn. I heard V.King is in need of your mouth on his dick. Or is it his mouth on yours? Well, whichever…I’m sure you big boys will sort it out.
