I’m trying to demo Think or Swim’s paper trading web-based platform, but it seems really buggy and slow. Do you use the web-based or desktop platform? Have any issues with either one?

Pro, i find web based a little slow myself. I only use the desktop, which is superior and lighting fast.

I’m still long, and although it looks like a short, volume is so thin that any good news could send it 5 points higher.
I went over the last quarter and everything looked great, record numbers, sustained growth, ect. I will continue to add to this position until i see reason to sell.

Totally depends on how often you trade. Zecco is free for 20 trades per month, IIRC.

June 30th, 2008 at 3:35 pmCagey — one caution on GGB. Starting about May 19th or so, it looks like one of those “widening bullhorn” type formations — higher highs, lower lows. In a schitty market, those can end in tragedy.
Also, BRICs will shit a …. well, you know, if the dollar continues tankage.

The gains today were minimal at best (from top 10). 1 and 2 percent is small time. Talk to me when your up 10% plus on trades. 25 cents here and there isnt getting anyone rich.
