At the point where it looked like America was doomed, when Citigroup Inc. [[C]] was trading at about $3/share, MrKCbill told everybody to jump in Citigroup Inc. [[C]] at the same time (joking of course). I thought to myself why not? I bought C at $3.15, and the market caught fire from there. Thank you MrKCbill.
In all seriousness, Obama stepped in at the right time to name his new team. If we can just get some good news from the Citigroup Inc. [[C]] over the weekend, Fly just might get his Thanksgiving rally.

it looks like with team Clinton… I mean, obama in place that we will be looking to do everything we did that caused the major bubbles in the first place. We’ll try to bring back 2000 before we set up america for a huge deflationary spiral that we will be unable to dig ourselves out of.
It still could take awhile before we get the credit flowing, but regardless, spending should increase, and GOLD and commodities remain a great investment probably until 2011-2012 or later.

banking could improve and return, but you have to think with real estate set up to get worse that they will struggle.
coal and oil will likely get taxed until it’s so difficult to get it out of the ground that oil starts going up and we’re forced to move to solar. So solar should do well at least relative to coal and energy companies.
Farmers can’t get loans but last time I checked people still need to eat. No telling when commodities
The money supply will continue to increase dramatically around the world as we fight this global slowdown, even though credit may contract and the flow of money may slow down for awhile before it gets going again. Gold and silver will gain in value, as will other real goods.
Steel may or may not be used, shipping rates are so low that it appears that the whole economy has come to a screeching halt. Might not be a bad time to speculate on some shipping, because if commodities are going higher, it will likely cost more to ship them, but right now ships have no reason to bother shipping, and I believe a few shipping companies will go bankrupt, so I’m not willing to risk more than a few OTM LEAPS in 1-3 shipping names with good balance sheets.

Right now it appears the liquidity will be pumped in through bailing out everyone, and stimulous checks, and I’m sure that we will do what we can to increase easy credit, only this time with more regulation.
