Apparently, Our Elder Generation is Lacking Decorum

This is not a post about the merits of $NES, I am long and will stay long until my thesis changes. Others still adhere to rig counts and GDP to search for growth, they are behind the times and have NO idea how to look into the future:

Some of you may have discovered that myself and another individual, “Po Pimp,” and I have been on opposite sides of a trade. Well, thats not true. I have actually put my money where my mouth is and invested in said company, $NES, and he has just sat there and bashed them.  He even went so far as to “not recommend a short position because thinly traded stocks that get pumped on Seekingalpha can burn your ass” …the stock trades upwards of 2 million shares a day, I’d say thats liquid enough.

Now, I stand here today to publicly apologize for any ad hominum attacks on his person. Whether this blue-collared, “look at me I’m an engineer!” deserves it is besides the point. I am apologizing for my personal well-being and to make sure that I do not do this again. This is the market and there are two sides to a trade.

Moving on, I had thought after his first post on $NES where he bashed them I had apologized then, only to have him attack me further. Well, it didnt stop there. To make matters worse, this “Clown from Appalachia” went out and examined their most recent quarter, which I admit blew. However, he put my name on the blog post title and then had the audacity to find my LinkedIn profile (which hadnt even been updated in years) and went ahead and posted that on his blog post. If there is anything I desire, it is anonymity. The things I post are absurd, ridiculous, and offensive. No one in my real life should be subject to such whims.

In conclusion, this “Po Pimp” who is apparently 20 years behind the times, when teenagers actually thought “pimping” was cool (you know, degradation and violence against women), has absolutely zero class and if it was up to me I would ban him completely. Moreover, he claims he is so old as to have so much experience; but, I think its that he realizes that as young as I am, I am much more ahead in life at this age then he was 15 years from now. That is my guess, what is yours?

  1. It is really best a chance to generate a handful of programs for any longer term in fact it is time for it to feel special. We’ve check this out upload of course, if I can I need to suggest people several exciting items or maybe tips. Maybe you might generate pursuing content with this report. I need to learn more issues close to the idea!

  2. Keep the blog posts coming. Very interesting stuff.

Gets me to thinkig more about a lot of things. How weird “communication” or what passes for it, on the Internet can be. How clueless most of us in the U.S. are about the Israeli/Palestinian conflict which has a long and complex history. How none of us really know what went on between Zimmerman & Martin, though most people seem to feel sure that the person of their race and/or political leanings was a pure angel and the other guy was completely in the wrong.

The TV sure caters to the human desire to make complex things simple. But you can’t reall make complex things simple. They are still complex, no matter what we decide to believe about them.

  3. I am not getting involved with the personal attacks here, but Po Pimp is correct when he says NES is a thinly traded stock that can burn your ass. Look on Nasdaq.com. The days to cover is over 22 and is always consistently high. That right there tells you that if you get stuck shorting, then you can literally get roasted (especially on some Seekingalpha news). I mean although it trades 2.5 million shares a day, those shares are only trading for 3 bucks. Not that much money flow. Couple that with a huge short interest, and one would be stupid to get on the short side. I’m not saying which side of the trade is right, just observing that technical aspect.

    To both parties.

I must admit I rarely have time to get past the front page at IBC but this recent nonsense caused me to come out of my little hole in the ground.

Speaking as the “Elder Generation” here I will impart some wisdom I was given over a decade ago when I had a similar experience on the interwebs (ah to here the gentle chimes of the dial-up modem logon).

As wise man told me then. “Winning an argument on the internet is like winning the special Olympics….Even if you win…you are still a retard”

Now that may offend some..I really don’t care…and that’s the point.

Whatever is said here in these little electrons makes little to no difference. Neither of you should be wasting your time with this because it doesn’t really matter either way.

    Cheers
